stromsensor.S0

WARNING – Electrical voltage

Hazard: The meter on which the stromsensor.S0 is installed is connected to mains voltage.

Possible consequence: Touching live parts can cause a life-threatening electric shock.

Action: The installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician only. Do not carry it out yourself. Do not open meter, fuse or distribution cabinets, and do not touch exposed wires or contacts.

The stromsensor.S0 reads electricity sub-meters with an S0 interface. You connect it to the Node with a cable and place it on the meter.

Recommendation for connecting

Connect the stromsensor.S0 to Port 3 or 4 of the Node if possible. Any port works, but Ports 3 + 4 extend the battery life.

Is this the right sensor?

Connecting and attaching the sensor

Qualified electrician only

The installation at the meter must be carried out by a qualified electrician only – see the warning at the top of this page.

1. Connecting the sensor to the Node

Plug the sensor's cable into a port of the Node – preferably Port 3 or 4, which gives the longest battery life. You can find which ports are possible for which sensor under Connecting Sensors to the Node.

2. Attaching the sensor to your meter's interface
