What is the energieleser.node?

With the necessary sensors for your meter models, the energieleser.node lets you read meters without WiFi or without a power connection.

The energieleser.node can be powered in two ways. With battery operation, it doesn't need an outlet within reach. It also transmits its data by radio and therefore doesn't require a stable WiFi connection at the meter location – a common problem in many basements.

Note

The energieleser.node is a transmitter module and only works together with a receiver module: the energieleser.bridge or an external receiver module. The readings are captured by the sensors that you place directly on the meter and connect to the Node.

Main features

  • Four independent ports – monitor electricity, gas, water and heat at the same time, in any combination
  • Multiple sensors – choose the right one for each meter from our compatibility guide; connection is always plug-and-play, one cable per port
  • Long battery life – runs for years on a single set of batteries
  • Simple setup – you pair the Node with your Bridge in the app and assign the ports to the sensors there
  • Scales from a single home to large commercial installations – suited to private, light-commercial, and larger-scale commercial deployments alike

Intended use & safety

The energieleser.node is intended for reading compatible utility meters, and should not be used for any other purpose — it scales from a single private household to large commercial installations. Before first use, read the enclosed instructions and the Safety & Compliance page carefully.

Safety

The energieleser.node is a battery-powered electronic device and must be kept out of the reach of children. If connecting a sensor requires opening a panel behind which mains-voltage wiring is located, this work must be carried out exclusively by a qualified electrician.

CE conformity

The energieleser.node meets all relevant EU standards and bears the CE mark. You can find more information under Safety & Compliance.
