Understanding Heat Charts

The energieleser app offers various charts to visualise your heat consumption. Here is how to interpret them.

Chart types

Line chart

Shows consumption over a period:

  • X-axis – Time (hours, days, weeks, months)
  • Y-axis – Consumption (kWh, MWh)
  • Line – Consumption over time

Bar chart

Compares consumption values:

  • Bars – Consumption for different periods
  • Comparison – Easy comparison between periods

Pie chart

Shows consumption shares:

  • Segments – Different sources or periods
  • Percentages – Share of total consumption

Interpreting the data

Spotting patterns

  • Peak times – When is consumption highest?
