Connect the wärmeleser to the app

This guide walks you through setting up your wärmeleser in the energieleser app.

2.1 Download the app​

Download the "energieleser - Energy at a Glance" app from the App Store or Google Play Store to your smartphone.

2.2 Create an account​

Open the app and create an account with your email address, or sign in with your Apple or Google account.

2.3 Select wärmeleser​

To connect the wärmeleser to the app, tap the "wärmeleser" tile in the app.

2.4 Enable Bluetooth​

Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone (turn it on if needed) and keep the phone close to the wärmeleser.

2.5 Connect the device​

Select the wärmeleser from the list of available devices to establish the connection.

2.6 Select WiFi​

Then select your personal WiFi network from the list of available networks and enter your WiFi password. Pay attention to the LED on the wärmeleser:

  • Green LED permanently lit: WiFi successfully connected.
  • Red LED permanently lit: WiFi not connected – reset the wärmeleser (see Quick Help).

2.7 Complete setup​

Confirm and wait until the wärmeleser is fully set up.

Done – your wärmeleser now measures your consumption in real time and appears on the app home screen. Tap it to view your consumption data and statistics quickly and easily. Enjoy reading your heat data!
